Quadrants
The four quarters of the Horoscope, each consisting of 90 degrees. They are measured from the cusps of the four angular Houses 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th. The first quadrant consist of Houses 1 to 3, the second quadrant consist of Houses 4 to 6, the third quadrant consist of Houses 7 to 9 and the last or forth quadrant consist of Houses 10 to 12.
Quadrate
A 90 degrees or Square Aspect.
Quadratures
Moon's changes, phases or quarters.
Quadrupedal Signs
The four-footed Signs of Aries, Taurus, Leo, Sagittarius and Capricorn representing quadrupeds.
Quadruplicity
The four signs which have one of the same quality; either cardinal, fixed or mutable.
Quartile
Same as Quadrate, that is a 90 degrees, or Square aspect.
Querent
Referred to the person asking question to astrologer, generally using Horary Astrology.
Quesited
Employed in Horary Astrology to indicate the person or thing that is the subject of an inquiry.
Quincunx
A challenging aspect forming when two points are 150 degrees apart.
Quindecile
An aspect forming when two points are 165 degrees apart; this is a minor aspect, seldom used but popularized in modern times by Noel Tyl. Quindecile is midway between Quincunx (150 degrees) and Opposition (180 degrees). It is said to indicate mental or psychological issues, sometimes obsession.
Quintile
An aspect invented by astrologer and astronomer Kepler, consisting of 72 degrees, or one-fifth of the circle. It is said to indicate creative abilities. Quintile is considered as minor aspect and is not widely used.
